Sizing your Press-on Nails

3 Ways to Find Your Perfect Custom Sizes

1. Sizing Kits

A sizing kit is a tool to help the customer find their unique sizes of press on nails. We create sizing kits for every length and shape of nail we offer. To use a sizing kit you simply use a trial and error method by placing each nail size over your finger. The perfect fit will be the nail that covers the ENTIRE nail bed, WITHOUT going over your skin, OR squeezing your nail too tight.

You do not want a nail too big for, obvious reasons, it wouldn't fit. You also do not want to size to small because it will hurt your nails once you apply the press on. Similar to the way acrylic nails hurt when they have been applied to small.

2. The Quarter Method

The Quarter method is a new way to size your nails, that eliminates the need of a sizing kit. It is a new method, and not 100% accurate, but it is quite useful for the girlies who need their nails ASAP. The method goes as follows:

Place your hand on a flat surface with a quarter near by. You want to take a picture of your hand FLAT, with all nails completely visible. You will also need a shot of just your thumb and the quarter.

Next you will email or DM us with your photos, so we can go on to size each finger based off of the scale size of the quarter. I will post a video to better explain. But it's as simple as taking two pictures and sending them our way.

3. Preset sizing

I can offer preset sizes, but they are the least accurate way to measure your nails. The problem with preset sizing is the different nail tip brands. All nails are not made the same, and brand differentiate they versions of "short", "medium", and "long".

You might have your sizes known for one shape and length, but that DOES NOT guarantee those sizes will be the same for a different length or shape. We definitely recommend grabbing a sizing kit to ensure you are in control of how your press ons will fit.
